We got bamboozled by the weather forecast saying it was supposed to be clear and sunny, while in fact it was an overcast day. Originally we had planned to visit Tenku no Torii 天空の鳥居 on the way up, which has a nice view of Mt. Fuji, but skipped since we couldn't see anything anyway. On the way down, I got to see a Japanese serow for the first time ever (after hundreds of kilometers hiked here in Japan). Unfortunately I didn't bring a zoom lens, so the pictures below were taken with a wide-angle lens then heavily cropped. The sky cleared up a bit at the end of the trip and Mt. Fuji became visible, but it was a little too late.
